Scoring Senior Research Associates (Grade 8)

Applicants for promotion to Senior Research Associate (Grade 8) will be assessed against the following evaluative criteria and scoring methodology: 

• Research and Researcher Development (90/100); 
• Service to the University and the Academic Community (10/100).

However, in recognition of the different contexts and roles held by research employees in different institutions with other opportunities to contribute, an alternative weighting is also available for which a clear rationale would be needed. More information can be found in the section “Departure from the Standard Scoring Model” (see here).  The alternative scoring methodology is:

• Research and Researcher Development (80/100); 
• Service to the University and the Academic Community (20/100).
