Market Pay and Advanced Contribution Supplements

For employees in receipt of Market Pay (MP) or an Advanced Contribution Supplement (ACS), any increase to base salary will erode the value of the additional payment by an amount equal to the increase in base pay.

Where an applicant is in receipt of both MP and an ACS, the ACS will be reduced first when their application for promotion is successful.
